Shipping Policy

At SwedishCandyWorld, we ship authentic Swedish pick and mix candy from Sweden to customers around the world. Our main markets are the United States and Canada, but we also deliver to many other international destinations.

By placing an order with SwedishCandyWorld, you agree to the shipping terms described below.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days.

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding Swedish public holidays.

Orders placed during weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During holidays, promotions, or periods of unusually high demand, processing may take slightly longer.

Shipping costs are calculated before checkout and are non refundable once an order has been shipped.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and courier service.

Approximately 4 to 7 business days

Canada
Approximately 3 to 7 business days

Other international destinations
Delivery times may vary depending on location.

Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather conditions, courier delays, or other circumstances outside our control.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

All orders are shipped Delivery Duty Paid (DDP).

This means SwedishCandyWorld covers customs duties, import taxes, and related fees so customers normally will not receive additional charges upon delivery.

However, customs authorities may occasionally require additional verification or documentation from the recipient. Customers are responsible for cooperating with the courier or customs if contacted.

Order Tracking

All orders include tracking.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

We typically ship using FedEx, DHL, or USPS depending on destination and availability.

Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after the package leaves our warehouse.

Delivery Responsibility

Once a shipment leaves our warehouse, responsibility for delivery transfers to the courier.

Customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking information and ensuring someone is available to receive the package if required.

If a delivery attempt fails because the customer is unavailable, the courier may attempt redelivery or leave the package according to their delivery policy.

SwedishCandyWorld cannot be responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, or returned due to:

  • Incorrect shipping address entered at checkout
  • Failure to receive the delivery
  • Failure to respond to courier contact attempts
  • Failure to arrange redelivery with the courier

If a package is returned to us due to these reasons, additional shipping costs may apply to resend the order.

Address Accuracy

Customers must ensure that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct and complete.

Orders cannot always be changed after they are processed or shipped.

SwedishCandyWorld is not responsible for orders delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.

Food Product Disclaimer

All products sold by SwedishCandyWorld are food items.

Candy may naturally change shape, texture, or appearance during shipping. This can include softening, hardening, or melting depending on temperature conditions.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge that these changes may occur during transport and do not qualify as damage or product defects.

Failed Deliveries

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to us by the courier, the customer may choose one of the following options:

Pay a new shipping fee for reshipment
Receive a refund for the products excluding shipping costs

Shipping charges are non refundable.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If a shipment appears lost in transit, please contact us and we will investigate with the courier.

Damage caused during transportation must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the package and contents.
